The Hon. Mary Beth Long testified before the House of Representatives Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere in a hearing entitled “Year in Review: U.S. Policy Toward a Changing Western Hemisphere.”  Ms. Long’s testimony provided a strategic perspective on how key events in 2015 impacted U.S. national security and security cooperation with regional allies.  Ms. Long is a former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs and recently served as a senior advisor to the Ministry of Defense of Colombia.
